In September, the weather in Plovdiv is changeable. The temperature range from 8-30оС, sometimes with showers.

The official currency of the country is LEV (BGN). The exchange rate is:

The electric appliances in Bulgaria work at 220 V.

VISAS
Please, consult the nearest consulate whether you need an entrance visa for Bulgaria. Citizens of EU member countries travel free.

HOW TO GET TO PLOVDIV
If you wish to come to Plovdiv alone:
- by air - international flights land on the airport of Sofia: www.sofia-airport.bg .
You could come to Plovdiv by renting a car /150 km high road distance/, taxi, train or bus. From the airport to the Central Railway Station in Sofia you could take a bus or taxi. Sofia-Plovdiv trains depart at 2-hour intervals. The Central Bus Station in Sofia is nearby the Central Railway Station. Buses leave for Plovdiv at 1 hour intervals.
- by bus - international buses usually stop in the Central Bus Station - Sofia. To come to Plovdiv you could take a train or bus.
